This is another trip heading to the Lone Star State of Texas from March 28 to early May 7, 2024 (41 days). The destination was Henly, TX to meet up with Les' sister and other Texan relatives and to be there in time to see perhaps our last total solar eclipse. During the trip we went through 11 states. Les and Jill set out in the motorhome, towing the new Jeep. The destination was a Mark Knopfler concert in Grand Prairie, TX. Along the way, we visited National Parks & Monuments, rode scenic railroads and visited Les' cousins in Texas. In the fall of 2018, we visited Iceland, including some of the popular sites and also the isolated Westfjords. We wrote a travel blog using FindPenguins.com We produced an ebook of the trip and have posted it on this site.
During the summer of 2016, we spent 117 days traveling to and through Alaska in our motorhome. Our blog for this trip is published here for family and friends.
